Sample Student Interviews
These two video clips are examples of walk-and-talk oral interviews the Museum Tech Academy students made using the knowledge and skills they learned about doing oral history. The interviewee is Cavan Sullivan, a young game farmer from Menard County, whose longer oral interview is in the AVBarn collection. The students asked questions about his pheasant and quail egg hatchery business, and then about his white-tailed deer enterprise.
