- Continuation of landmark tour. They drive by the Old Home Farm (built by Archer Herndon before the Civil War) and describe the white brick (and how they were made). Recalls wooden molds for bricks. He identifies old buildings like the smokehouse and buggy shed. Remembers digging a basement out under the whole house to put in a furnace (about 1925) and adding a cistern.
