- FARMING METHODS
- Fairs, radio ads, newspaper ads, to find buyers. Harvested and graded the corn by size. Corn planters like uniform sized seeds. In the corn dryer, you tested for moisture content. Heated corn with oil till steamed, and test water content. Put fungicide on and bag it into 56 pound bags. University certified it and tagged it. Later developed an electric charge through the corn to test moisture content.
- FARM FACILITIES
- Room next to living room in new house (Chez Nous) used for corn storage. Kids snapped the tags on the bags and ruined the certification. Built a storage building.
