LIVESTOCK CARE
Says a lot of diseases cattle and elk have are similar. Vaccinate for same reproductive diseases. Says in order to work the elk and cattle, you'd have to be 'fearless'; have patience and be willing to listen. Says it is sometimes harder for the guys because they may not have the patience. Lindsey is the main herdsman. Have to test for tuberculosis; get blood drawn. Get tested for Chronic Wasting Disease in elk and white tail deer.
FARM BUSINESS
Enjoys working on the farm & everybody has their niche. Small business owners need to be able to compete with the big boys. Believes her farm will change a hundred more times.
REFLECTIONS
Says to keep your options open, see where it will lead you. Know where you came from, but understand you don't know where you will end up.
