- The Ag department promoted biofuel, but not with funding. He personally is in favor of biofuel, but the cost is too high at $7.00 gallon. Rejects the oil companies' assertion it takes too much oil to make Ethanol. There are always some people who object to everything. Now corn and soybeans are somewhat feasible. Controversies.
- FARM BUSINESS
- High prices for commodities now. Livestock industry is hurting. Costs are higher than prices. Uses money to promote agriculture. Less emphasis at the fairs on agriculture. Need to make it educational. Difficult with budget cuts.
