FARM BUSINESS
Sustainability has become very important in agriculture. Fourteen full time employees. Three people work the compost operation. Six of the fourteen are milkers. They have an intern program every summer. At the end of the internship the farm pays $3500 scholarship. Started as a Midwestern program with students from Illinois, Iowa State, and Minnesota. Recently has expanded to Ohio State, Cornell, and Penn State. They have a foreign exchange intern named Christian Schlutke from Germany. Many of their employees are Hispanic. They are good workers. Some are bilingual.
REFLECTIONS
