- FARMING METHODS
- The land they are on was originally bare, then she planted peach and apple trees. The next owners turned most of it into farm land. There is a sprayer in one of the fields.
- ENVIRONMENT
- Deer are a big problem in that area.
- FARMING METHODS
- They installed irrigation to help their crops. Irrigation was new to Southern Illinois at the time.
- TRANSPORTATION
- The road the farm is on is called McGuire Road, named after her husband's family. Her husband really enjoyed eating fresh fruit.
