Moved to their home while it was in "Clary's Grove." Got to speak on the radio for Voices of Women Across the Atlantic when her 4-H group won a trip to Europe. Has researched and found family graves in Menard County. Discusses family ancestors from the area. Was superintendant of her Sunday school for 40 years. Can no longer see as well. Planted flowers to lose a little weight on her doctor's advice. Took in a boy whose parents were divorcing and whose mother could no longer pay for his care while she worked. Kept in touch with his mother but did not see his father after he was 2 years old.
