Ray Ackerman bought his first car, a Model T Ford, in 1937. It sits in the barnyard of the Ackerman Farm in this photograph (1950s?), a little worse for wear. The car looks like a 1923 Model T, but not the touring model shown with Clyde Ackerman in this gallery.
