- Attended programs at the Women's Club, was secretary once. Learned to make things like hats, made over furs, hooked rugs at Home Extension. Charter member of Sangamon County branch. Dedicated it with reading of her poems that she continues to write about her Presley tours.

- No regrets about being a preacher's wife.
- RETIREMENT
- Husband did not go on vacations. Retired and then still preached part time. When stopped preaching, did not want to do much. Says he was not treated well in the end. Did all the work (she was his youth minister).
