- Photographs of brother, aunt's family from CA; story of two dolls given to her mother and aunt -- aunt jealous of china doll and threatened to smash it.
- TOWNS
- She got a prize for the oldest dress. Remembers Craggs and Craggs Store, Miller's Ice-Cream Store, Shults' plants. Describes dad taking grain to local elevator and mill to be ground.
- CHILDHOOD WORK
- Raised a calf, sold it, bought some chicks, raised and sold them, got a baby pig. Brother Eddie has a pony; someone gave him a baby pig to raise, sell and buy a suit, but he didn't follow through. When older, she worked in neighbors' homes instead of farming. Father raised sheep. She lied to watch shearing; collected bits of fluff and made a pin cushion. Father also raised colts.
