- Bert tells story of how he dealt with rough ground, a field with a lot of clods that would not break up. At first he double-disked (a method he earlier stated he learned from Farm Bureau telling him various methods others dealt with clods). Next year he got & used an iron roller. Getting rid of clods resulted in a good crop of corn.
