- Had livestock for most of his farming years. Hogs. Had livestock until the last 10 years that he farmed. Fed feeder cattle and raised feeder pigs. Labor for the livestock got to expensive and unreliable. Then did work himself with help from his wife. Finally got out of livestock business altogether.
