School Lunches Froze

- ONE ROOM SCHOOLHOUSE
- The students brought sandwiches in a half-gallon bucket for lunch, but in the winter the floor in the back of the room was so cold that the sandwiches froze. They built a little shelf by the flue later to solve the problem.
