- NON-FARM WORK
- More discussion of Mr. Herndon's law work. A law case his firm handled concerned the legality of a drainage district in Oklahoma that a Springfield Company issued bonds for. When they came due, the taxpayers in Oklahoma refused to pay the taxes and challenged the legality of the district. The local lawyers had lost in state court, but Gray's firm investigated and restarted the case in federal court and won. Also discusses how his firm got its business.
- TOWNS
- Discussion of William Fetzer's Plant which used to manufacture farm equipment in Springfield. Mr. Fetzer was a party in Mr. Herndon's case regarding the OK drainage district.
