Hartline side of family came from Germany in 1800's came down coast looking for similar areas to home. Stopped in North Carolina and eventually got to Illinois. Ancestors buried in the Casper Church Cemetery. Found fifth great grandfather buried in North Carolina.

Father repaired Shoes. Got job in State Hospital. Mother was housewife till she worked in State Hospital.
