- COLLEGE EDUCATION
- Commuted to Illinois College for Undergraduate degree. Parents were teachers & thought he would be. Enjoyed science. Got to travel with science classes & decided on Environmental Science and Biology major. Developed farm to pay for school. Football injury disqualified entry to Marine Corps. Former professor advised gradate school, so went to Western to get a masters in Biology.
- SPECIALTY LIVESTOCK
- Discusses Master's thesis dealing with Pheasant tail length and spurs to see if there is a correlation to mobility of sperm. Large tail might mean that several things to a female, believes the spurs are not used for fighting, believes spurs are used for holding onto females.
- FARM BUSINESS
- Brother is helping all the time & sister Shelby is always great support, Can call family to ask for help & jokes " he does not pay very well." Brother works to buy a share in the business, Eventually will get 50% of the business, pays sister.
