Raising Livestock & Buying Milk in Town

- Sold their animals. Raised lambs but never ate them. Beef cattle raised by brother and sister for 4-H. Always had pork and beef in freezer. Took animals to butcher & did not slaughter themselves. Had 8 milk cows, sold and drank own milk, unpasteurized. Began buying milk in town after sister refused to drink unpasteurized milk.
