- FARM EQUIPMENT
- Engineers worked on several projects that worked, some didn't make any money. Within two years, competitors came out with throwers. The hay cube was a project; made hay into pellets or cubes for feed. Mold problem. Worked well with alfalfa in Arizona and CA where it's dry. Worked on a tobacco harvester, but dropped it as market fell. Worked on a universal corn harvester - ear corn, shell corn, and silage. Too many compromises. But engineers allowed to use their imaginations and try things.
