Lloyd attended elementary one-room-school through 8th grade, then to Alton schools. Took a bus to junior high. Before that you had to walk or ride, or stay with relative closer to town. Describes differences between town and country kids as perceived by some. Noticed that country kids came from various schools, so did not cluster as one group.
