- ORGANIZATIONS
- They recruit through organizations for students. Have grown over five years. It is a six-month program but some learn faster. They partner with organizations who help with housing, Their population has the hardest time getting work. They start them with two weeks of intensive job-readiness skills; communication, teamwork, goal-setting. Then they start to work on the three different farms. Spend the mornings doing work and then they learn about horticulture, literacy. Professional farmers supervise the students.
