- FARM BUREAU
- Son Harry was in 4-H & she and husband were leaders. Camped in the timber. Training from the University for leaders. She is a member of the Farm Bureau & all her insurance is through it. Also gave you advice on farming. Women have Home Bureau.
- FARM BUSINESS
- Went to corn and beans after government set asides angered him. Rotate crops to not deplete soil. Always paid hail insurance. Collected one year. Test you soil, take care of it. No remedy for drought on higher land. Around 1956, they almost did not have a corn crop, but most years were very good.
