- The extension is suffering economic constraints. County offices - federal funding level, state funding loss to budget woes, next year funding will be 85 per cent. General revenue funds for education has decreased. 150 positions went to 90. Youth area 4-H programs, state fair programs are a source of pride for him. He coached livestock judging teams. Most rewarding is working with an operation that matures and develops the technology. He enjoyed travelling internationally, especially Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Ukraine.
