- Mr. Herndon believes prohibition made many people bootleggers who would not otherwise have done so.
- TRAVEL
- Tells story about a vacation he took to Pike's Peak, CO with a friend at age 15. They camped out in a tent. In Leadville, they stopped and looked for a camping spot. A dance hall owner offered them a spot. This was during Prohibition. Man offered to deliver liquor to them in IL. Years later he went back to Leadville, but the place was closed down.
