"Naturally" - Sons Helped Father & Daughters Helped Mother

- Mrs. Saiter notes that girls helped their mother in the house while the boys helped their father with outside farm work. In busy times on farm they would help a little w/ farm work, particularly shelling corn for horses before men came in from the field.
