FARM BUSINESS
Families of hired help can come visit occasionally. Every year the people who own the farm have a picnic at the farm for all the families. They'll also have a dinner for the employees to keep them involved. Nate's father works on the farm too, they are a management team.
TOWNS
Gets along nicely with the neighbors. Says they have a good relationship with the schools, the sheriff's department, and some of the construction workers. Establishing relationship with the neighbors is very important.
CHANGES IN FARMING METHODS
Automation and technology has improved the efficiency of what they do. New equipment and new ways of working in the field is adopted. Says one thing they changed was having cows lay on sand instead of a mattress and sawdust. Manure is separated from sand, can reuse the sand in the barn.
