FAMILY BACKGROUND
Mrs. Williams gives more details on Williams relatives in Civil War. Mrs. Williams husband worked in mines & took in boarders who were working on bridge being built. Mentions names of husband's siblings. Frank's mother has stroke at 40. Father started living with various children until he got really sick & this person went with him to live at children's homes. Frank & siblings split cost of "nurse" who cared for father.
NON-FARM WORK
Mrs. Williams tells again of husband going to Flint, MI or Detroit for work in auto industry when mines were on strike. Mrs. Williams & daughter went to MI after school was out.
