- Shows difference between roosters. When breeding the pheasants, the hen doesn't matter, but pick the best roosters--extremely fast, explosive off the ground, long tales, dominant males, popular males, flightly. Most of their birds are release birds for shooting, training or restocking. Trying to make as wild pheasant as possible. Others might grow heaviest birds because they're uesd for meat.
