- FAMILY
- Discusses her children's teenage activities, including parties & movies. Older son is more outgoing. Daughter spends more time with friends then with boyfriends. Has not had to make a lot of decisions about rules for dating. Taught children never to lie. Discipline has not been very necessary. Done some grounding to make a point. Talks about discussions with daughter about behavior. Feels very fortunate that her kids are well behaved.
- CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
- School dances. Lots of parties in Malta. Sometimes with high school kids drinking unsupervised. She would not allow her daughter to attend.
- MILITARY SERVICE
- Husband was never called for draft at Vietnam. None of her close friends were in the service.
- FARM ORGANIZATIONS
- Holds meetings, marketing lessons, classes. Her husband does not attend these. Home Extension is for the women. Hold craft days and picnics. She would do more if her husband was interested. Neighbors all belong to Farm Bureau but not as many are involved in the activities. They belong to farm bureau because of insurance reasons, it is required.
