- CHURCH ACTIVITIES
- Went to church every Sunday. Mother played the piano. Currently goes to church in Milton, Illinois. Very involved in the Christian church there. Hosts a junior high youth group with around 8-12 kids. Also meets with people from other denominations weekly. They eat breakfast together every week. Played a softball game with a church in Milton. Says they read the same Bible so why not fellowship together.
- CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
- Attended the schools in Pittsfield. Rode the bus for an hour, to and from school. The cities of Pearl and Nebo had consolidated, so then the majority of students transferred to Pittsfield schools. Talks about course offerings at the high schools and college. Mentions the idea of 'country kids vs. town kids'.
