- FARMING METHODS
- Dr. Pfeiffer was a genius but clumsy at mechanical things. Dr. Pfeiffer used conservative rotation and additions to composts. Also used regular manuals. Ten tons of manure per acre. Took soil samples to test. Scully had three sets of rotation - one year of corn, two years of corn, etc. Tested composts; sometimes contained weed seeds. Viability of the seeds were decreasing after some years as has the value of the crop (nutrients) during the past fifty years. Going for volume, not nutrient value. What effect on health?
- Talks about occurrence of cancers. Medical sector not know about food production; follow the food processing. Reproductive capacity of animals varies with diet.
