- Mr. Hubbard discusses finances when he bought house in 1942. (This part is difficult to understand & is almost inaudible.)

- Hard to hear story about his views on paying doctors.

- Mr. Hubbard recalls streetcars in Springfield & their routes. Streets were not paved at that time. (Audio quality improves dramatically.). Notes business next door. Most homes used coal or wood. Many homes had dirt floors. Still a union member. Belonged to Local 474.
