- Talks about how his grandfather and father had an apple orchard and then transferred to a peach market, due to peaches selling better and apples can be found in grocery stores.

- Says he and his younger brother would hoe weeds in the bean field and pick apples. Today, he and his brother work in Granite City for Craft Foods at Capri Sun, making Kool-Aid. Used to work for other farmers. Did some modeling when he was in his twenties. Eventually began his own store called Golden Eagle General Store. He created the logo for it and made t-shirts; was a type of tourist attraction.
