- CROPS

- CHANGES IN FARMING METHODS
- There has been a major change in farming efficiency (increased bushel yields, shorter time for raising livestock). The machinery in agriculture have made working much more comfortable.
- FARM BUSINESS
- Phillip says for his son to be successful in agriculture a college education is critical, but also needs some sort of financial field and international trade. He sees a very bright future for farming in Illinois. More marketing opportunities. The family farm is going to change.
