- Works under an operating agreement with the Illinois Farm Bureau. Gives the employees freedom within the organization. Illinois Farm Bureau also has a credit union. Illinois Agriculture Association is the umbrella organization for all of these divisions. IAA funds Ag in the Classroom program to teach about the Illinois Farmer and Illinois agriculture. Teach to 3rd and 4th graders. Provide grants to local communities, to coordinators, provide materials and train educators. Important to tell the story of where the food came from, how its produced, transported and are aware of all the aspects of food production around you. IAA has a radio station, RFD on many networks. Providing programming to farm broadcasters. Talk about many different aspects of farming from food safety to stimulus packages. Talks about the importance of radio and reaching the farmer.
