- His name is Mark Johnson, from Sandwich, IL. He owns a ranch with his wife and raises Southdowns. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. Learned about raising and judging sheep form his dad. He has judged everywhere from California to Massachusetts. Illinois is one of the best producers of sheep. If you can win the Illinois state fair, you can win anywhere.
