- John Marshall Home Museum is looked at.
- ENVIRONMENT
- Grain is sent down river. Bridge was built in 1957. Before the bridge people crossed the river by ferry to get to Kentucky. There's a levy and in 1937the water came over the concrete wall. The water has come over the wall in 1913, 1937 and 1898.
- FARM HOUSE
- Mr. Scates shows his son's farm home. There is a small two room house in the back. The farm house was built in the 1940s. There is also a grain storage facility.
- FARMING METHODS
- Mr. Scate's nephew sprays anhydrous and while his brother plants corn. The Wabash and Ohio Rivers are nearby. Anhydrous helps produce a larger yield.
