- FAMILY
- Discussing Ron's (husband) friends. His friends are all farmers. Ron does not harvest or plant with friends. Just with son Ken. Sometimes borrows machinery. 2 sons and 1 daughter. Tells ages.
- LAND
- Land in four different places. Husband and son do all the farming on all the land, sometimes with other son when he is home from college. Ron did more traveling with his father when the land was more spread out. Now it's not as time consuming. Total acres on all land about 500 acres.

- Combine, 4 tractors, grain truck, an antique tractor.

- Does some hauling for other farmers. Hauls grain to the Illinois river and loads it on barges. Sells their own as well.

- Sundays they always go to church together. Go to the nursing home after church. Sometimes have lunch in DeKalb. Get together for birthday parties with husband's sisters. Christmas they trade between the four siblings houses.
