- NEIGHBORS
- Neighbors helped each other with equipment; during illness. Sharing was common. He still help my neighbors and they help him.
- MARKETING
- Corn was $1.10 50 years ago and stable. Now prices fluctuate; gone up to $6 and beans to $15 a bushel. Dropped lately in 2008. Try to sell some ahead of time, some store it and sell the next year. Prices of fertilizer double last year. Have three grain bins and some goes to elevator.
