CHILDHOOD ACTIVITIES
Remembers playing in the Sears house. Her older sisters would lock themselves in the bathroom and have girl talk and Eileen wasn't invited, so one day to show she had to go to the bathroom she poured water on the bathroom door handle. Another time she remembers he sisters going skinny dipping in the creek and she tattled to her mom who told them to put their suits back on. Used to play on the hills, played tag & Hide-&-Seek. Hid in cornfields. Made guns from the rubber tubing off of a Model T Ford tire. Tells the sad story of their dog, Dickey Dog. Had chickens to feed and many cats to play with.
CHILDHOOD WORK
Helped with milking and shucking corn. Helped carry water to the workers out in the field.
ELECTRIFICATION
Had a Delco engine that was run by batteries to light the garage.
