- Talks about the problems facing farmers with the rise of prices. He calls it the food vs. fuel vs. feed dilemma, who all blamed it on ethanol. Rather than the price of corn, he says it was all caused by the price of energy. He says the country needs a comprehensive energy plan. Food was not the only thing affected, so was fertilizer. The Farm Bureau supports ethanol production.

- Thinks there's a bright future for ethanol and renewables. Thinks ethanol's efficiency will grow, both corn and cellulose based ethanol. Have many obstacles to overcome, including transportation, cost, storage and efficiency.
