- Describes visiting Springfield in the mid-1920s in his Model T to go to the State Fair. Talks about the hot dogs and candy he ate. Describes the Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, the whip, and the caterpillar rides. Liked the house of mirrors and other scary things. Remembers going to the county fair in Mason City, where you ate a lot of food.
