- Describes Dwight Street's horse shows & the tricks held in high school. Story of Bert visiting Dwight Street's place & how Dwight "shamed" a horse. Story of Dwight riding horse bareback & doing another trick for Bert. States that training saddle horse is difficult, but Dwight was a good trainer of saddle horses. Tells of Dwight getting out of big horse business after stallions died & getting into pony business. Story of ponies getting loose. Story of ponies chasing off hunters & dogs hunting quail. Horses would have killed them.
